Public Beta Launch
Our goal was to foster a space where everyone can freely express themselves, albeit within the realm of thoughtful discourse. The platform was designed to promote meaningful debates and discourage impulsive reactions. Rather than simply disliking something, we encourage users to articulate their reasons. Similarly, when expressing opinions, we prefer thorough explanations to facilitate robust discussions. This vision is reflected in the platform's design and features. For instance, we meticulously crafted our reaction system. Unlike other platforms where posts can be liked indiscriminately, on Blogchain, we introduced an emotional reaction system to allow users to express nuanced opinions about written subjects, valuing quality interactions over sheer quantity.
After establishing a strong foundation for the project and launching it to the public, our team shifted focus towards enhancing the product with various new features. One significant addition was enabling content creators to generate revenue on the platform. This involved implementing creators subscriptions, as well as developing a comprehensive dashboard specifically for creators. This dashboard allowed them to manage their premium content, subscription plans, and track their earnings effectively, without requiring any web3.0 knowledge.
Additionally, we dedicated efforts to improving content discoverability through features such as email notifications, personalized feed suggestions, topic following options, in-app alerts, profile tagging in comments and quotes, an enhanced search page, and more.
My experience with Blogchain was invaluable, providing me with a wealth of knowledge across various domains. From its inception to its realization over several months, working on this complex project was truly remarkable. Collaborating with exceptional teammates, I had the opportunity to refine and enhance it, transforming our ideas into a tangible, user-friendly end product.
